Nobody to hear me
Not just listen but hear
That I'm here
All alone at home
Nobody's around
Voice barely makes sound
To the people in the house
I'm misunderstood
The words that come out
Of my mouth
Sound better in my head
I have a speech impediment
Don't even remember the last
Thing I said
So I wrote it all down
Put my body on a stack of paper
To see who would read it
Maybe see if I can open myself
I'm gone
