Going All-In w/ A bad hand

by Jundy Dynamyte   Dec 25, 2009

A poker game starts.
A Heart at stakes. I have a bad hand.
I had my poker face on & going All-In.
I try to make you fold, but you can never call my lies.
Its like you see my bluff at d 1st place.
The time has come. I'm afraid of the outcome
because you could possibly win. I show you my,
you show yours next. You have the best hand in poker
Pocket Aces. The flop, the Turn, the River.
Nothing was in my favor. I lost. I gamble my heart.
Now I walk in shame & never play poker again.

Your truly my Ace of Hearts!!

An interesting metaphor you have used to describe the way you love someone but I guess that makes it unique and not so cliched. The flow was off in places but thats due to the way in which you wrote this poem(freestyle). Anyway it was a great job and keep writing.
