Empty Thoughts and Heart

I closed the door to my heart and emptied it of you,

Yet you slip into my mind and pass through it,

Then for that short time all is good again,

Though it is only a thought induced illusion,

As my heart is still empty it is not deluded,

Because you no longer belong to me,

Yet my mind can still be filled with hope by just a thought of you,

It is a shame that those thoughts are empty to.
