Ultra Light

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 26, 2009

Alaskan skies combust into rainbow-filled illusions,
spilling rivers of color 'cross the thickening horizon;
picturesque snakes slide past watchful shadows
and shoot up waterfalls that gracefully trickle down
like summer fireworks exploding in one swift motion.
Magnificent angels race towards the finish line
as their once heavy wings set fire and collide.
