One More Day That I Can't Take

by Some Random Human   Dec 27, 2009

The Sun is setting,
there's no forgetting,
and there's no coping,
so I am hoping,
when the Sun rises,
and this world chastises,
I'll be missing,
that's what I'm wishing,

I go to sleep every night,
hoping I won't wake to light,
and every morning I awake,
it's one more day that I can't take,

The dawn is breaking,
now I am waking,
and I don't like it,
no I despise it,
so please just take me,
this world will break me,
and I don't like it,
no I despise it,

I go to sleep every night,
hoping I won't wake to light,
and every morning I awake,
it's one more day that I can't take,

Can't you see,
what you mean to me,
you're all I need,
you're everything,
the air I breathe,
now I am weak,
and I don't like it,
no I despise it,

I go to sleep every night,
hoping I won't wake to light,
and every morning I awake,
it's one more day that I can't take,

And I don't like it,
no I despise it,

I go to sleep every night,
hoping I won't wake to light,
and every morning I awake,
it's one more day that I can't take...
