Dead Since The Day You Left

by Some Random Human   Dec 27, 2009

I've been dead since the day you left,
yes I'm still breathing, but there's no heart in my chest,
I died the day you walked away,
there's no blood in my veins, now I need you to stay,
why can't you see, that you belong with me,
why must it be, that I'm your enemy,
and I'm begging you to look inside your heart,
just give me one more chance, before I fall apart,

I've been dead since the day you left,
yes I'm still breathing, but there's no heart in my chest,
I died the day you walked away,
there's no blood in my veins, and I need you to stay,

Today was a hard one, my mind kept running back to you,
I feel cold in the hot Sun, ever since I've been livin' without you,
and I don't know how much more of this I can stand,
still wish you were here holding my hand,
but you have gone so far away,
it's been a long time, but it seems like yesterday,
these memories are killing me so slow,
and there's no way I can let you go,

I've been dead since the day you left,
yes I'm still breathing, but there's no heart in my chest,
I died the day you walked away,
there's no blood in my veins, and I need you to stay,

I've been dead since the day you left,
yes I'm still breathing, but there's no heart in my chest,
I died the day you walked away,
there's no blood in my veins, and I need you to stay...
