She Is

She's that fresh breath of air.
The lungs in my body.
I cannot see myself witout her;
I am blind, entirely.
And on my darkest days
she somehow keeps me sane.
Showering me with her love,
takes away the pain.
Her smile alone is enough
to make my heart skip a beat.
Whenever she is away,
I feel only half complete.
The sultry sound in her voice,
sends lovely chills down my spine.
I feel as if I'm in heaven,
for she has me up so high.
Sometimes I wonder
what I've done to deserve her.
I couldn't ask for more,
she is the perfect lover.

*Written after listening to The Fray's song "She Is" I wrote this in like 7 minutes. It's probably not that good to most. I know it needs improvement with the ending... Just trying to get back in the swing of writing.

    I feel this way about my fiancee. She is the air I breathe and everything I need to survive in this world. When you're madly in love with somebody no days are bad anymore because you have someone to make you smile and to keep the world amazing...your would atleast.     Aww! Sooo cute. She is a lucky girl to have someone like you to write about her :) and she's also quite lucky to have someone like you love her.

    ^It's so amazing how that special someone can just take the hurt right out of you when you're with him/her. And, it's wonderful to have that because you're so much happier!

    One of my favorite parts of this poem was really the word choice. You came up with the words that worked the best in this poem, which is somethiny many people don't consider when they write a poem. Luckily, you did. And it turned out delightful!

    I go along with the flow and enjoyed this poem very much those exceptional poems sometimes come quickly and are work that comes screaming from the heart when something inspires I would not alter a word as it stand excellent in my mind Ray S 5/5
