Eyes of the Sea

by ABrookeD   Dec 29, 2009

Eyes of the sea,
Soft and kind.
A tunnel,
A gateway into the unknown.
Into the depths of a young man's soul.

There lies hidden emotions,
A wall of steal.
What lingers beyond,
You choose not to expose.

And still she stays,
Patiently awaiting
Force need not be made.
For the day will come,
When trepidation welcomes trust
And eyes of the sea,
Light blue will fade to green.

Nice. I like this kind of love poems. Not too mushy, not that theres wrong with mushy love poems, well anyways, what I mean is its mixed with lots of emotions other than love, some sadness, mystery in some ways, those kinda stuff. All in all, a real good poem.
