The Vow

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 30, 2009

Finest maidens fear not
your lovers are riding
on fast silver stallions
headed to deliver love
back to where it needs
to be rising.

Do not wander foolishly
in the heart of the forest
for night time is drawing nigh
and all your doubts
will leave you breathless.

Don't be searching, love,
they are almost here.

Calm your anxious souls
soon desires will be met
tender kisses of warmth
whispering 'God keep
you always here'.

Let intense love reign
for numerous centuries
allow the flaming candle
to burn forever in sight.

Kiss upon ignited clouds
settle in their comfort
live to tell and pass on
your everlasting love,
and how it changes
the meaning of life.
