The violent ends of violent delights

by Nobody   Dec 30, 2009

The sweet embraces of yesteryear
still lightly feathered upon his skin
cinnamon arms once held a tight embrace

her kiss still fired upon his lips
that once dashed away linger doubts
her satin hair upon his finger tips

his eyes shot open, grasping for her
empty sheets, isolated room
loneliness engulf his vision

he suffocates in heartbreak
the air lingers in her scent
memories drown his mind

clutching the bottle once more
choking every brown liquid drop
hoping for everlasting sleep

begging to be rid of this heartache
jumping for a chance to escape
praying for everlasting peace in her place
