She Was Just In The Way.

She was never the type to let anything get to her.
Never the type who cared what anyone thought.

She had so much to say,
But it was only said in her mind.

She wanted the world to know,
The pain she held so deep inside.

She wanted them to see,
That her arm was now her own playground.

She wanted them to hear her,
When she cried for someone to save her.

But no one cared,
No one knew.

She was never the type who begged for attention,
But a little attention wouldn't have hurt.

She wasn't someone who never lived life to the fullest,
She just realized that her purpose was to be gone.

Just keeps to herself,
For fear of being rejected.

She never tells her secrets,
Because that would just give people a reason to call her crazy.

She keeps all her thoughts,
Tucked inside her heart.

But what no one knows,
Is that little girl could only take so much pain.

She was falling apart,
And no one ever even knew.

Now she's gone,
Because no one cared enough to ask why.
