Come Sail Away With Me

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 31, 2009

Styrofoam towers stand
as we walk atop lucid waters
carving our lovely initials
with rainbow markers.

The big glass flower opens
revealing warm paradise
like an animated cave
that holds countless jewels.

I used to sit waiting each night
for your enchanted carpet
to come effortlessly flying in
as we ride upon the stars.

Now I am settled in home
exploring rooms of simulation
I do not wish to return
to my earthly place in life.

Run with me on crystal seas
while we engrave forever
our two unified names
that shape this floating city.

    ^Reword this --
    'while we engrave our two
    unified names that will forever
    shape this floating city'
^Something like this flows better in my opinion.

Otherwise, awesome job you have such a beautiful imagination.
