Everytime We Touch

Light angel hair twirls
twisting with daring wind
as they cross different lives
building a new path.

Lively ocean waves
embrace remote sand
bestowing mermaid kisses
on every single grain.

Engaged hands lock
resuming commitment
as sweet promises of
-never let go- soar.

Barefoot feet travel
for miles in conversation
exploring the depth
of one's inner thoughts.

Earned wings form
on determined figures
opening up full flight
into scarlet horizons.

Mother Sun caresses
the tops of our heads
quenching dry skies
with bubbling honey.

    I like your use of creative metaphors and I liked this part expecially:

    Mermaid kisses wow! Definitely brought me back to my childhood fantasies. Was a delightful read, 5/5!

    I went to go copy my favorite stanza but then realized I might as well just copy the entire poem... haha I loved every stanza, every line, every word. Such beauty in your words... & showed true love. 'Sweet promises of -never let go- soar' --- loved this a lot. A beautiful write!
