But I think you should know,
that for you I would do it all.
Since the first time i saw you,
I wondered your name.
And when the time came
I don't know what I would say.
But I knew that my shyness would betray me.
I knew that this was the year,
to overcome my fear.
I risked getting turned down,
And possibly ending up with a frown
And if you would've said no,
I would've drowned in tears...
