This Note (A Valentine's poem to all the women in the world)

This note is for everyone who got a rose
And everyone who didn’t
For those of you who sent one
For those of you who hoped

For those who had their heart broken
Or helped a friend pick up the pieces
Who willingly gave their love to another
But never got love in return

This note is for you:
The loving, loved and loveless
Who believe there is another
And who wait
Regardless of how late

This is a mere token of gratitude
To all womankind
From all us cavemen
Who, without you, would have died
