I barely see you
I wonder if you notice
When my gaze doesnt follow you
From across the room

I miss you
Or whatever we were
Just snatched glances
Or being near you

Things seem so different
Now that youre gone
If youre gone
I wish you were here

Our lives were intertwined
Yet now the bonds seem to loosen
I dont know if thats good
Or merely whats been chosen

Perhaps this is our destiny
Though destiny seems absent
Like the sun in the rain
Not visible, evanescent at best
But still there

    I like how the mood here is bitter sweet and that just like the sun in the rain, you can tell that you still like a person even though you try to hide how bad it hurts.
