Another New Year

Another "new" year,
another 365 days,
for me to try to get through,
my life's awful haze.

No time to look back,
for I must trudge along,
I can't change the past,
I can't undo all I did wrong.

What do you do,
when you don't have the strength to be strong?
What do you do,
When all you ever loved is gone?

I die in my dreams,
I die every night.
Because I can't make all the wrong,
suddenly seem alright.

But, it's another new year,
another 365 days,
