I lost again

by Little Lisa   Jan 4, 2010

Lips quiver as you walk on by,
She always knew how to catch your eye,
Trying to hide what I already know,
Stammering for answers as your eyes shift real slow,
A competent thought is what you now lack,
As things become hazy and your head falls back,
Incising another horrible memory into my mind,
Intertwining knots that won't unwind,
Sedating your thoughts you put your lips to hers once more,
Then say some more hurtful words as you pass out on the floor,
An empty mind not realizing what will be lost in the end,
She has done it the bottle has won again.
