Hidden, Controlled

by Loveless   Jan 5, 2010

Breath, in, out
It's not the time to cry
Not time to breakdown

Hold a neutral look
Don't show the turmoil
Spinning inside
Turning like the sea
Crashing and destroying

Don't show them the tears
The complete emptiness inside

Don't let them see
You're falling apart

Sit silently, praying for death
Don't let them see
Your weakness
You have to be strong
Even if you're in Hell

You have to show them
They can't knock you down

There's so much noise
And it no longer matters
Nothing matters anymore
But you can't let them see

Your eyes hold no light
They've long become dull
Nothing left to shine for

Your passion's gone
Control the breaking inside
Never show the cracks

Bury the feelings
That destroy you

Apathy is the way to survive
No one lives long anyway

So don't show you misery
And stand tall

Never let them break you.
