Stands still

I sit still
As the snow falls gently to the ground
As if the earth stood still

I look up into the sky
And wonder
Is there a better place

Where it is as peaceful
As snow flouting to the earths ground

All I can do is look out the window
And wonder

And as each snowflake falls
I smile and say yes
There is a place as peaceful as snow
As beautiful as a snow covered field
As quite as the wind blowing through my hair

As i look upon the earth
The earth stands still
