Music means...

The constant beating of a drumset,
The picking of the base,
And the peaceful humming of ones voice,
Sends a smile to my face.

Pouring from the speakers,
Are lyrics from the heart,
Cascading all around the room,
Creating a work of art.

Music has a beauty,
That not all can understand,
Its a truly powerful creation,
That may be hard to comprehend.

Within each soothing ballad,
And behind that melody,
Can be words so close to home,
With soul bearing honesty.

Music keeps my world alive,
If you cant already see,
And the reasons listed above,
Is why music means the world to me.
