Lands of Eternal Harmony

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 10, 2010

I rest silently upon
sun-kissed meadow
magically mesmerized
by enchantment of light.

Daytime fireflies wink
and twirl about in dance
bringing pure radiance
like resplendent crowns.

My new acquaintances
caress warmed legs
weaving forest gowns
to twirl freely in.

I spring from position
with lively golden hair
as the airborne restorers
lead me to Netherlands.

Nothing is as it seems.

UOu did justice to the painting, MaryAnne..I loved it, my hair is also strawbwerry blonde, a little lighter than that of the lady in the painting and she is wearing my favorite color: emerald green!!

Why do you have my country's name in the poem?

    God bless,

This was very well done :) it seems like your typical work which makes me it easier to undersand and I can compare it to your other work. Not one of my favorites but still a strong piece. I think you did a great job with capturing the essence of the picture. You seem to grow with every new piece and I'm never disappointed. Keep it up :) Nik
