The Night

by Kuro   Jan 10, 2010

Silently and still is the night air
Motionless the lonely scene
Bewilders and bewitches
As the moon peeks from behind its curtain like clouds.
Waiting for someone else to join my disturbless night.
But there is only a silent response to my silent plea.
Loneliness should never be shared.
Yet the moon calls for a lonely audience.
Soothing your distress with beauty
How I yearn to comfort the moon.
Let it know they are not alone.
So I pray and so it stays,
Gazing at each other with understanding.
We are both opposites who dispel the light.
With all my heart, I favor the night.

I love the last two lines, they are by far the best out of the lot! I think maybe it could have a better flow of words to it, but other than that i loves everything about it..i always enjoy reading your work as it insights me to write more. IBE
