From the shadows

by Jackie   Jan 11, 2010

She enters the room
Totally unaware
Of the terrible horror
Lurking in there
He hides in the corner
Just out of her sight
Watching and waiting
For when the time's right
He edges closer
His eyes on his prey
Making sure that
She doesn't get away
Suddenly she turns
And sees him before her
Dad, dad, she screams
Please, catch this spider.

    Hahaha, you got me there.
An arachnophobic made me forget all of my worries today...

This is dark yet funny at the end when its, about the spider of course. I like the sharp, short sentences as it allures' to the spiders attack.

    Great job, Em
