From a daughter to a father

by Ezra   Jan 17, 2010

I'm rarely kind to you,

I'm always sarcastic,

I'm always taking you for granted,

I'm always asking for things.

And

I'm never giving you things in return.

Yet to still deal with me,

You always have patience with me,

And you still ask me to do things even though you know it probably wont get done.

You always give me respect

Even when I ask too much from you

You rarely say no.

You are presses to me

Even when I don't show it...

Father of a thousand, this is to you:

You helped raise me when others could not.

You taught me things that I could not learn in school.

You taught me how to react to others.

You taught me how to respect others.

You taught me many things.

And

You gave me advice on my drawings, the things I created.

You gave me advise on how to treat others, especially when they where mean to me.

You taught me how to clean, and take care of my self.

And most importantly

You taught me to be my self.

You gave me many things.

Things I wish I could someday repay to you.

I know that someday I'll be able thank you for all the things you did for me.

But until then I'll just say
Thank you, Daddy.

The same way I used to when I was little.

Unreplasable love from your only blood daughter
