Hey You in the Forest

by Weeping Willow   Jan 18, 2010

Hey you in the forest
What is your name
Can you tell me why the floor moves
Can you tell me where your from

I don't know how I got here sir
But I sure do like it
I feel better here
Normal you could say
My how the weather is great today

Did you see the frog
The one with rainbow eyes
He told me of a river
That's in great disguise

I found the river mister
I drank from it as the frog insisted
The water has brought me back
I can smile without my soul screeching

I bathed in the river sir
Cleansed my soul
From top to bottom
The muck isn't on me any more
How amazing this river

How amazing when the liquid
Touched my toungue
And I saw god sir
I felt him in my veins
I saw myself for the first time
And I sang

I know who you are now sir
Your me
Your me before that time
Yes I've finally found you
Thanks to the frog and the river

Take me home sir
I'm ready
I'm free
Thanks to the river
And the frog
And the soul of you sir
That finally found me
