Lets be blunt- growing up is tough
it's when everyone starts changing
and being your old self just isn't enough.
you stop thinking with your head and follow your heart
growing up's not really all it's cracked up tomorrow be
cause life happens and things fall apart.
you lose the people you trust most of all
shit happens and you begin to fall.
you get caught up in this artificial place
where everyone's the same
so much potential just lies in waste.
you continue this pattern till reality hits you one day
you see just how much you've changed
and discover that you've lost your way.
finally you see just how far you have gone
for in trying to grow up
you've become societies pawn
