Mile after Mile

by Ryu   Jan 22, 2010

I need the summer like a bad habit
An addiction I still crave,
Like a need to over-dose
With a pipe in one hand,
And a bottle in the right
To carry me to her

Mile after mile of open roads
Full of never ending crevices and curves
A winter both harsh and cold
With hollow days and lonely nights
That dream of mine back home
My sad and sweet soul mate

And I need her now
I need her more than anything

The tires, they run their course
Keep pushing me away from her
With no comfort in my solitude

Mile after mile of open roads
Full of never ending crevices and curves
A winter both harsh and cold
With hollow days and lonely nights
That dream of mine back home
My sad and sweet soul mate

And I need her now
I need her more than anything
