Fate Forseen

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 24, 2010

She shivers with cold
yet mindlessly lowers
her dull sweater past
sinful shoulders.

I wish for more than mortality.

Misty eyes stalk her
sensing vulnerability
they wink by magic
like glorious glimpses
of a life that could be.

Come closer to my body.

Chilling wind whispers
it's almost time
as seasons uncontrollably
spin around her touch
what power she'll hold.

Jump into my corrupted soul.

Icy electricity sparks
at the surface of skin
teasing her with need
gnawing promises
of never erasable.

I am as ready as I will ever be.

She cries out loudly
mysterious shadows
sinking fully in
while she twists
in spasms of change.

Goodbye everything I knew.

She flies from imprisonment
no longer feeling trapped
now able to move
through other's spirits
and powerfully speak.

Watch out here I come.
