Abundant Blessings

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 28, 2010

Baby's breath and silver lace
interlock with lilac wings
-plump pear meets simple grape
the integrity of two diversities
surprise the humble onlooker-
an arrangement of romance
grazes my somber cheek softly.

Numerous angel-sung aromas
undo the heresy tying knot
-flawless God sets His canvas
and paints the child-bearing fruit
that heal many atop Eden's tree-
if you need to wallow in peace
ask kindly for graceful forgiveness.

Soon you will taste the bountiful feast He has laid out.
