Standing alone

by rae   Jan 29, 2010

Standing alone
you begin to transfix all of your thoughts
on all of your problems
you begin to apprehend that the moments you spent clenching on to all of your failed fantasy's,
you could have been putting forth energy to new dreams
instead you commited suicide on your responsibilities
you walked away from your fears
in lieu of facing the terror headfirst

standing alone
you attempt to remove these very thoughts from your mind
but in return this is all you can focus on.

its only fair
to comprehend the reason you're standing alone
has everything to do with you
