Once upon a time I told you everything
There was nothing too big or too small
But now those days are over
We hardly speak to each other at all

Once upon a time I fell for you
But my heart didn't believe that it could work
So I never said a thing, I never whispered one word
And it caused you to end up hurt

Once upon a time we almost kissed
But almost doesn't really matter
It could have been the beginning of something good
Or it could have turned out to be the latter

I didn't understand what was happening
Since when did best friends say good-bye?
