My dear friend, I always want to run
To you, when I need a little bit of sun
Every time I fell for another stupid guy
You were there to dry the tears I'd cry

Told me to stop looking for love, so I forgot
You said I'd be ok, but to be honest I'm not
I did something awful, and I'm so very blue
For once in my life, I know I can't run to you

I'm falling harder and faster than I ever did before
Only this time it penetrates, striking through my core
Red love flows as the rift grows; your hand drops & deserts
It's YOU who's stolen my heart, and that's what really hurts

    Katie,

    Some lines in this poem are so relatable, to many people I guess.

    When we have a good friend, sometimes the feeling changes and we fall in love..a risk, because when you fail to make it work, then you most probably will have lost the friendship too. But the heart cannot be told what to do. I think honestly is the best policy
    in all cases and certaily in this case.
