A different form for you but I like it. I also like the message you present. There comes a time when we have to leave behind the bitter harvest and move on, begin anew. Well done. |
This was such a personal piece that I really admired Ingrid. You told of your past and how now you were going to start anew, what a message for all of us. As I was watching Meet the Robinsons last night, such a great movie, I was reminded of the motto: Keep Moving Forward. |

I like your poetic sensibility. I also like the fact that you only use the necessary words to convey your message. Though out our lives, there will surely be bitter moments. But we can move on by filling them up with sweet memories. Excellent write my friend |
Very well done, there comes this time in our lives were we have to start over, leave the past behind and start that new beginning. Really nicely done |

SO sad but so strong....Ingrid in this poem you did show the person you are, the amazing personality you have. The strength in you, not to allow life and its hardships and mean creatures to break you down. |

I like the style of this piece, Ingrid. The lack of rhyming let the message come through without being forced, but the stanzas imposed some structure on the whole. The effect is that of a mantra, almost - something that you could clutch to your chest and repeat in times of need. Almost a prayer of letting go and renewal - a concept that is almost always bittersweet. |
Enjoyed the write. Wonderful Ingrid!!! |
