All Of Me

I can't seem to get
myself out of these
words I've written
upon this page.
They define me
outline me make
me who I am today.

This use to be your
job a long time ago.
Every step you
took I was right there.
Every breathe of air
you sucked down
went to my lungs...

Breathing doesn't come to me now
it just passes me by like clouds

I was so wrapped up
in your lies that I didn't
feel the pain from your
actions. But now they are
all coming at me and
I have no where to hide.

Naked...without my
high walls of protection.
I let them fall to
let you in and now you
have vanished...taking
all of me.

*I had the song "My Immortal" by Evanescence in mind when I wrote this.*

    Nik,
    I love how your writes seem to be so simple in wording but complex in meaning. It feels as if when you write, you hold nothing back; you just let it all flow so beautifully. There is not much more that I can say, other than that this was a wonderful read.

    I like how you dont hold back yet just release all your emotions into your poems even if its not the best I've seen from you, I really likek that you express your emotions well and arent afraid to do so. Nicely done again .
