Making You Warm

by Soulful Ensemble   Feb 5, 2010

Soft is your warm little hand
Inside my coarse, rough palm.
I clutch and close it within
To try to make you calm.

I raise that pretty thing
Right up to my soft lips,
And kiss it slow and think
What pretty finger tips.

I kiss softly down your wrist
And you look down at me,
Asking why I kissed you there,
And I say "to make you happy".

You smile and stop me, baby
And grab my rugged face.
You kiss it soft and passionately
And I feel your trace.

I look into your eyes and say
"I could never feel this for another".
You cry, smiling, saying " hey"
"I always wanna be your lover."

You have to go now -- I hold you tight
Not letting go so easily.
"I want to go everywhere with you, alright?"
She smiles, "oh, love, you're cheesy."
