Master Moon's Journey

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 7, 2010

I spy her glowing shoulders
-revealing soft morn's light-
I rise into the cloud's swirl
-I must keep her close in sight-

Sky wanderers pull
-we split between heart-
I attempt to resist
- refusing from the start-

My curled toe veers
- I will travel off course-
only to hold her hand
-and be true love's source-

While healing honey flows
-I swim in dipped hellos-
Calm hues skip
-atop rainbow cellos-

I have broken this curse
-now free are our souls-
to hover side by side
-in smiling rainbow bowls-
