Fragile and so delicate
Laughter, fun and joy
wants to be like mommy
wants her pride and joy

coming home from school today
tears rolling down her face
someone said her daddy
was just a big fake

studying for exams
ready to graduate
soon she'll go to college
soon she'll get married

found a specail boy
someone to treat her right
her mom and daddy love him
he never leaves her side

little girl
all grown up
like her daddy
strong and tough

she's got a baby boy
whos fragile and so delicate
she's finally like her mommy
she found her pride and joy

coming home from iraq today
to her husband and baby boy
tears start rolling down her face
happy tears of joy
