Ready Yourselves

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 12, 2010

..................................Believe
..............................Together we
.........................Can color in horizons
.................Letting humble hopes stand again
.........With the very visible potent breath of this life
...............Foul air shall no longer contaminate
....................For our embroidered wings
............................Overflow cups
.................................Believe

.................................Balance
...........................Hard to capture
.................In a growling judgmental sea
............Where free will becomes stolen trade
........Locked away alongside intimidated convicts
...............Nonetheless it shall be restored
......................Without a wave of hate
.............................Find yourself
.................................Balance

..................................Heroes
...........................Describe our likes
.....................Yet consoled are we not
..............By a mere hallucination of sly luck
........But we wholly perceive change striken earth
................For what it so proudly portrays
......................Hands that offers peace
..........................To make hearts
..................................Heroes

.................................Chosen
.............................We cannot sit
...................And watch tilting worlds fall
..............Let us be the firm building structure
.........To unify courageous but blinded neighbors
..............Who will survive to pass good news
...................Through struggling nations
..........................We must remain
.................................Chosen

    Ohhhhhh! Four Rictameters, no less!!
Even just one is hard to do, let alone a whole series..

I loved it, MaryAnne and also the message in your words.

    Way to go, girlie:)
