The tide is high; the sky is dimming
The salt water burns my eyes.
I'm scared to death; my life's in jeopardy
And my whole body begins to cry.
A weakened soul; a lost friend
I've been saved only the rain.
These walls I've built; their tumbling down
And my heart's wilting from the pain.
The weight of the world; resting upon my shoulders
Pretty soon my knees will break.
The beginning of a disaster; another holocaust
Which the Earth will have to take.
The tide is high; the sky is still dimming
Take a moment to throw the unwanted away.
In the core of my being, pure silence; pure love
And I have to believe that we'll be okay.
