The Rock And Roll Girl And The Country Boy

by Mello193   Feb 12, 2010

She lived for the sound
and bled for the lie
she wore jet black boots
and dared never cry

he lived for the life
and cried all the time
he wore plaid and ripped jeans
but didn't have a dime

she fought for rights to escape
and run aways
she needed fresh air
to get rid of the daze

he never did wrong
always remained the same
he had goals and dreams
and saw them die

she finally left
the place she was born
but turned into something
that many guys outworn

he left the small town
where nothing changed
he took refuge
in a place in dept to thoughts deranged
