Sappy Love Poem

You'll have to excuse this sappy love poem,
this just isn't my best, I'm sad to say,
you see I'm at a loss for words,
to tell you how your smile makes my day.

I could tell you how I love it when you talk,
and that I try not to smile when I see your face,
but it's just that you're so damn perfect,
all the words I have to tell you just get erased.

But I love how respectful and kind you are,
it doesn't take a brain of smarts to see,
you are truly a unique and great guy,
whose probably way too good for me.

I wonder though how you feel about poetry,
'cause if I were to, this is how I'd confess,
I don't really know how to catch your attention,
so I wrote you this lame poem instead...
