Self-Evaluation

by Darling   Feb 18, 2010

Sitting all alone,
Thinking through your life.
Have you grown?
Do you need another slice?

With your wants and your needs,
No one can catch a break,
You're a parasite, like a weed,
Just rethink a minute, just wait.

By now you're feeling hollow,
A shell of who you once were.
You don't deserve your little halo,
When you feel the darkness stir.

Even when it's gone,
You know you want it back.
Everything that feels wrong,
Shoved into one small, convenient pack.

This is how you will always live,
Miserable and alone.
Feeding off what others give,
Inside your self-loathing dome.

    I really like this.
This is true and very straightforward about how once feels.
You made it so that who ever reads this thinks about what they think and how they feel.
