Snow

by Soulful Ensemble   Feb 19, 2010

I'm a lonely ghost
Gliding in mid-air
In a white glow of light
Travelling back to you,
Quietly through the night
Searching for the only thing
That I'm still attached to.
I had given up your face
Given up your trace;
Its beauty that captivates
Like a sunny day;
Like a pretty mountain flower;
Like the moon at dawn;
Like the last day of June;
Like the first day of Spring
Beneath a flowery smile
And all of my desire
When you disappeared.
But now I need you,
I want you
I must find your love
I still want to make you smile
And to make you laugh
To hear that pretty sound
And I will look all day and night
Never giving up
Even when all the snow melts
Down to the very last inch.
