A Transition

Dip me in some sunshine
Hang me out to dry
Let it sink into my skin
Until my bones do cry

The dark in me collapsing
Light invades my eyes
Time to shake off all the pain
That taints this life's blue skies

Happiness won't find me
If I don't search it out
Buried under everything
That fills a heart with doubt
