Obscure Interference

by PassionCourageTriumph   Feb 22, 2010

Words like butterflies
Whispering pleasant nonentities
Wrap guiltlessly 'bout my subconscious

Subliminal roots plunging
Seeking for some thought
Shamelessly gouging

Gruesome fairytales with
Gleefully dancing demons &
Grotesque pixies

Peering deep within my core
Picking at the remnants
Present from the destruction

Daring to examine the things that make me tic
Dreading what will come if they're caught
Delving into a place so forbidden

Forgiving as I am
Fortune cannot tell the
Fate of the traveler who slinks down a forbidden lane

Looking for inspiration but
Longing for a fight
Leering at every stranger they observe

Outside and in they search
Obscure figures catch your eye
Outrunning my involuntary contemplations

Cursing as they drown
Corresponding with their frustrations
Contemporary mind readers lost within my retina

Reaching for the pictures of hope that they see
Rejected by my commiseration
Released by my sensitivity

Your descriptive talent is so prevelant here !
& how ironic it is to have written a poem so well about your inability to express yourself in verse ...Simply amazing & very well crafted....Jim The Man Within...5/5
