Innocence
Taken away
Stolen from a young girl
Soul shattering
Insides collapsing
Tears falling.
Something she can never have back..
She couldn't stop him
His constant grabbing
She tried to get away
The way he smelled..
The way he touched..
It was all wrong.
'Stop!' is what she screamed
He didn't listen.
Tears starting pouring
All he did was hit her..
All alone and broken
No one to love or care
Worthless is what she felt
One day she couldn't take it anymore.
Into her parents closest
She knew where they hid the gun
With one bullet left inside.
She knew what she would have to do..
Into her room she started a note
'Mommy and daddy, I'm so so sorry
I know you're going to hate me
But he really hurt me. My sanity has gone
I really do love you both. But I'm sorry
I just have to go.."
At only thirteen years old,
She put the note on the mirror
Calm as could be.. Put the bullet in the gun
Doing what had to be done.
This had to be the end.
The end of the suffering.
No more pain to mend..
