Murder in the morning paper
Rape in the evening news
Misery and horror rules.
You wake up to hear about death
But nothing about love and peace.
Pain is everywhere
And no happiness and cheer.
Ratings don't follow smiles
On their every day walks
From the park to the library
Or from the market to the town.
Everybody wakes up
With their eyes still closed
And only see the inside
Of whats always cruel.
Theres nothing more depressing
Than blind people who see
But choose to close their eyes
To all this misery.
