Something With Glitter

by Melissa   Feb 25, 2010

A star is a star,
it twinkles whether I wish upon its
airy disposition
or not.

I should, perhaps
indulge in jejune thinking

Whyfor? I've got a heart
and a pen of many hands

besides, the sky cares not about my whether-
thereupon defeatism seems juvenile in itself,
with its slightly tattered ideas
all bound for
over-thinking

furthermore, gazing is pertinent
to possibility,
it blooms nice things to life-
minus the muck of
a dim outlook
