Got used to you

Never knew what love felt like
until you came and landed in my life
my heart you lite on fire
in just a little while
I got used to having you around
I got used to you makin me smile

I got used to jotting down your name on every blank space,
scribblin your name over and over again
I grew attached to the way you made my heart race
and kept it beating at a firm steady pace
Id long to be near you, just to breath the same air
I started moaning and moaning just to sense that you cared

Because i love you, nothing else makes sense
and if you read this poem carefully you'd realise its all in past tense :(
